About Emily Toner
Hi, I'm Emily. My expertise lies in keynote delivery, workshop facilitation and tailored program development that inspires real, actionable, long-term behavioural and cultural change for people and organisations.
I consult to organisations on how they can embed mindfulness and wellbeing science theory and practise into their culture and everyday actions.
I'm a nationally registered Clinical Psychologist with a research background in Behavioural Neuroscience and Positive Psychology from The University of Melbourne.
I've worked on projects with a range of clients including Medibank, Seek, ANZ and Deloitte, and am a content consultant for the Melbourne-based non-profit, Smiling Mind.
I have taught Positive Psychology and Mindfulness theory and practice at Monash University and The Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP), and have run mindfulness courses and workshops for the general public at The Mindroom and Vitalise Psychology in Melbourne. I gained my clinical experience working in the health sector as a Clinical Psychologist at Epworth Hospital and The Albert Road Clinic and have worked in private practice.
I am energised by taking concepts grounded in science and making them relevant and accessible everyone. I aim to create content that is engaging, practical and fun, and derive personal meaning from helping people gain awareness into themselves and their potential.
